I’ve had my eyes on the Street-style diffuser for quite a while, and knew it would be just the thing to add a little aggressive touch to the exterior. I called up Shine Auto and grabbed a FRP version of the diffuser, and a few days later, a really big box arrived:

It came with the usual glossy primer type paint on it.

To match up with my FEED skirts and ’99 Lip, I painted the diffuser with a low-gloss black.

Taking off the stock rear lip was a little tricky, a couple of the bolts were at weird angles… I figured since I wasn’t going to do anything with it anymore, I decided to whip out the hack saw and go to work.

All the bolt holes lined up perfectly on the new diffuser. The overall fitment took a little work, however… but the end result makes everything worth it.

I also recently picked up another set of lugnuts from a local import parts store. While the Work RS lugnuts were nice, I almost immediately realized I should’ve gone with extended versions after purchasing them. To remedy this situation, I got the Ray’s Extended… in anodized red ofcourse Instead of selling the Work lugnuts, I conveniently threw them on the Miata.

This pic shows the mudflaps installed along with the diffuser. I felt things were cleaner without the mudflaps so I later took them off.
