Fuel System Upgrades
December 21, 2010For the LS engine to work I needed to adapt the fuel system from a returned based system to return-less. To do this I adapted the stock feed hard line to AN, capped the stock return (in case of future need) and deleted the evap line.
To make the LS work returnless/regulated I replaced the stock fuel filter in the stock location with a Corvette filter/regulator which will internally regulate the pressure to the fuel rail and return any excess.
A fuel tank baffle was added to prevent fuel slosh under heavy G load and a new filter was added to the 255 pump
I also upgraded the stock lines with Goodyear fuel injection line
We then made a hard line for the outlet
Since the evap system was deleted we ran a filter off the tank to prevent the tank from swelling without being able to vent
