Minisode: 4L60E/700R4 2nd Gear Slip/2-3 Shift Flare & Slip
January 26, 2021Not one, but two separate transmissions with the SAME problem.
The internet will say that it’s not the flare problem, but I say otherwise.
Backstory: Two separate 4L60E transmissions with 2nd gear slipping (full range of throttle) and 2-3 gear shift flares (slips). Every level of diagnostics was done until the shift servos were removed to reveal major wear on the 2-3 servo collar.
